no more sunsets
no more new moon
no more worry
when dingoes croon

no more heat
red dust and flies
no more desert cold
or young hawk cries

no more moon rise
or battles against buffel
no more clay works
or student kerfuffle

no more ochre tints
or rose striped skies
no more gum tree
or delicate butterflies

no more worry
environmental concern
no more protest
or country to yearn

no more pain
no more giving
let go of family
to get on with living.
